Talk to dispatch

One call. A dispatcher, not a form.

What dispatch needs to know about a Columbia drop.

Heat decides whether crews use it

Through the summer a unit in full sun here is one the crew walks past. Shade, the north side of a structure and a wash station alongside do more for a jobsite than adding another unit does.

The calendar, not the weather

Demand here tracks the legislative session and the university year rather than the building season. Those weeks pull event inventory across the metro, so a date inside one of them is worth fixing early.

Two counties, one river

Lexington and Richland sit on opposite banks and the crossings are the bottleneck at the wrong hour. Cayce and Blythewood are both the Midlands and not the same run, so name the town.

Which areas of Columbia do you cover?

Richland and Lexington counties. That covers downtown, the Vista, Five Points, Shandon and Forest Acres, plus Cayce, West Columbia, Irmo, Lexington, Blythewood, Chapin and northeast Columbia. Call with your zip code to confirm.

How do units hold up in the summer heat here?

They hold up; the question is whether the crew uses them. Put them out of direct sun where the site allows it, add a hand wash station, and give dispatch the headcount so the count suits the conditions rather than just the rule of thumb.

What does it cost?

Price depends on unit type, rental length and location. A one-day party unit and a monthly jobsite cycle price differently. Call with your zip code and headcount, you get a real quote on the phone, in minutes.

How many units do I need?

Rule of thumb: one unit per 50 guests for a single-day event, one per 25 for a wedding, and about one per 10 workers on a full-week jobsite. Add an ADA unit when anyone on site needs step-free access. Tell dispatch your headcount and we spec it for you.

Where should the unit be placed?

Within about 15 feet of where the service truck can park, on level ground. A fenced backyard is usually the wrong spot: if the truck can't reach the unit on service day, the stop gets skipped. Dispatch walks placement with you before delivery.

Are ADA-accessible units available?

Yes. Wheelchair-accessible units with ground-level entry, interior turning radius and grab bars are available in most areas.

One phone call places the order.
