About Porta Potty US
In short
We run one phone line for porta potty rentals. You call, we connect you with a licensed, insured provider near your site, and that provider delivers, services and picks up the units.
What we do
Porta Potty US is a referral service for portable toilet rentals. One phone number covers jobsites, events and emergencies across the United States. When you call, a dispatcher takes your headcount, dates and address, and connects you with a licensed, insured portable sanitation provider that serves your area.
That provider delivers the units, services them and picks them up. The rental agreement, the price and the schedule are between you and them. We do not own trucks or units, and we would rather say so up front than let you find out on delivery day.
How a call works
- You call (833) 680-0336. A person answers during dispatch hours.
- We work out what you need. How many units, which type (standard, ADA, hand wash, restroom trailer), for how long and how the truck gets in. If you already ran the numbers in our calculator, say so.
- You are connected to a local provider. They confirm availability and give you the quote.
- The provider delivers and services the units on the schedule you agree with them.
How we are paid
Calling is free, and you never pay us anything. We are paid for connecting the call, not by you. Prices are set by the provider who serves your site. For typical 2026 ranges by day, week and month, see what a porta potty rental costs.
How we write our guides
Our guides answer the question first, then show the numbers and where they come from.
- Rules come from the primary source. OSHA regulations as published on eCFR (29 CFR 1926.51 for construction, 1928.110 for farm field work) and the industry guidelines of the Portable Sanitation Association International (PSAI).
- Prices are ranges, not quotes. They come from published price guides, carry the date we checked them and say where they apply.
- If a rule does not exist, we say so. Federal OSHA sets no maximum distance in feet between workers and a jobsite toilet, even though you will read “200 feet” in many places.
- Every guide is dated and lists its sources at the bottom of the page.
Guides are general information, not legal advice. A state OSHA plan, a local permit office or your contract can ask for more than the federal minimum.
What we are not
We are not a government agency or an industry body, and we are not affiliated with OSHA or PSAI. Citing their numbers does not mean they endorse us. The legal terms of the service are in our terms of service; how call data is handled is in our privacy policy.
